The manuscript known as the ” Alefi Quran ” is a stunning example of the art of calligraphy and illumination. Notably, each line begins with the letter “Alef,” (the first letter of the alphabet in Arabic) a characteristic that is meticulously maintained throughout the entire work. This Quran features 114 occurrences of “بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم ” (Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim,) each uniquely styled for its respective surah, and comprises 190 pages measuring 25 by 35 centimeters. It is important to note that this Quran does not include a Persian translation and is inscribed in the elegant script of Sheikh Muhammad Yusuf Qasimi Azim Abadi.

Additionally, the manuscript includes examples of pages from Qurans attributed to the Imams and companions of the Prophet Muhammad at its conclusion. The exquisite calligraphy and artistic illumination are the work of Sayyid Ahmad Tariq Azad and Muhammad Khalik Tunki. The editing was overseen by Sheikh Abdul Rahman, Sheikh Mujib ar-Rahman Khan, and Sheikh Shabir Ahmad Fahi. Finally, this manuscript has received official approval from the Ministry of Awqaf of Saudi Arabia, further validating its significance.
